The channels I have listed are a great resource to draw from, and often have topics relating to many of the subjects and units covered under the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.  Specifically, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, the Weather Channel, and Animal Planet coorelate to the science strand; and the Learning Channel covers history, science, and math topics.
